Here, the roof has been removed, east wall lowered, scope is in the stowed position. The finder scope is my older BW Mallincam mounted to a Stellarview F50 and a 41/4 monitor I bought off E-bay and modified. It also uses a toilet flush valve focuser which actually works very well since the focus needs to be adjusted only once a night. I thought about adding a real focuser, but this one fits the character of this scope. I'd literally JUST finished tweaking the collimation - which requires the R200CF to be 100% vertical; convenient since this is my "home position" anyways (to clear the roof). The Speco IS better, but not by as much as I would have thought! I compared them side by side last night - Speco via S-video and Proton via composite... Target was M31... But, it is SO much smaller... I'm liking this observatory "diet" thing ("Honey, I shrunk the scope and monitor!")...
