I agree...the whole "live" name is deceptive. All of us are doing imaging.

Hi Paul,
Great start! They look good.
Once you get used to the settings on the camera you'll be getting even better images.

Hi, all...
Took this shot of M20 (Trifid Nebula) on 6/10/13... .Mallincam Xtreme, 45 sec single exposure, NO processing. 12" LX200GPS, Celestron 6.3 FR/C with a Antares 1.25" .5 FR, no filters. Seeing and stuff was so-so. The weather has been so poor for so long now, that I hardly ever get to do anything. A processed pic to follow.
Thanks for looking!
Devon

Hi, again...
My M20 cleaned up just a bit in Photoshop 7... Just darkened the backgroung and upped the contrast a couple of hairs. Got several fairly good pics that night.
Thanks for looking!

Thanks, Dragon Man!

I've got a long way to go, but I'm getting better with the MCX. It's amazing to see this stuff show up on a monitor like this. Love it.
Just wish we had more decent weather.
Also, would LOVE to spend some time under your skies!

Devon

Call me Ken

and you are very welcome to come on down and see our southern skies.
I've already had one U.S. Cloudy Nights member come down and do some imaging at my place
I am in a pitch black country town. He had a blast!
