A good clear night.
      #6342127 - 01/28/14 11:44 PM Attachment (52 downloads)

Managed to get several captures of varied objects this last Sunday night.
These are all taken through an Explore Scientific AR152 with Astro-Systems MKIII camera and .63 reducer.
First up is the Flame Nebula/NGC2024

M61.
This is the last from the night of captures.
I had a lot of fun and the temp stayed at 48 so not too bad.
The camera seemed to do much better in the refractor than the Newt astro-graph.
I will need to try again and see if it's my setup or not.

John, put them all in the Gallery including the Gear info. That way they won't get lost in the Forum.

That's what the Gallery is there for. Non Post-processed screen grabs.

Unfortunately my north view is blocked by large trees.
I actually keep a tunnel cut through the folage to see Polaris in order to perform polar alignment of my EQ.

I will place the captures in the gallery as Ken has suggested and all the equipment data as well.

Integration times were the same but gain values changed.
I am adding the captures to the gallery with more detailed data.

Hi John,

I find this object (M78) to be extremely difficult to capture, at least from my light polluted location. Good job!
