Here's the viewing room for my 10 inch F/17 window scope. This was a few years back but it's pretty much the same. Now that cold weather is here it's hard to beat.

The primary is kept outside in a box. To find anything I stick a green laser in the focuser and put the laser on the target by moving the flat then go inside.

FYI the wood panel holding the focuser (and correcting lenses on the other end) is removeable as is the shelf outside holding the flat.

At least I was observing last night. I never took a scope out in cold weather before building this scope.

My lightweight short-tube 80 made with plastic bottles
Weight is 1.2 pounds.
Objective is bought online, eyepiece taken from junk binoculars.
