A few months ago I finally broke down and bought a little heavier mount. There was nothing really wrong with the LXD75 and I still use it quite a bit, but the Atlas was definitely an improvement. The imaging scope is a stock SN6 fitted with a homemade dew shield and the optical tube from a Meade DSX-90 as a guide scope. The DSX-90 is identical to the ETX-90, but it was originally mounted on a DS-2000 mount instead of the ETX fork mount. I replaced the original finder with a laser pointer and the telescope now serves as a computerized Point-To system for my homebuilt 16.5" f/6.5 Newtonian. In use I have the DS-2045S point to the target, then I follow the laser beam out to its end with the finder on my 16.5". Works like a charm! A total novice contacted the AAS looking for help with his new loaded Celestron Edge HD (he basically bought everything in the Celestron CES video) and so I offered to help, especially given the chance to play with his new toy! Jump forward a couple of months and he broke his foot and realized he'd never be able to handle lifting the scope onto the wedge, so guess who got a good deal on a new scope that I really didn't need (but couldn't pass up!)
