I have six of those laying around and I'm darned if I can figure out where to plug in the controller. Forget about cleaning the optics.

Thats too easy... the controler plugs in under the tail, and the optics are between the ears.one stretches the tail and hind feet for the tripod. to clean the optics one holds a lightly damped plain Kleenex with windex mixed with water, to the optics, and sways a piece of catnip in front back and forth. the two forearms are manual slow motion.

there is one caveat though... one must wear leather gloves for this item to be operated or cleaned. :-)

I did post a picture of my Meade Lx200 binoviewer but I did something wrong I guess..
On top you see a 20x110 binoviewer (a lunt solar scope is also possible) with a 15 Lb couterweight.
I also ad a Optec filterwheel and focusser, 2 fans, one handelbar, and moved another.

To make space for the Optec filterwheel and focusser I did this to the fork:

I can see my post of my Meade LX 200 binoviewer after I submit the post, but from the main index/ homepage my post is not to be found (latest post is from 'Cavefrog' not from 'Garret').

Since my previous post didn't link the images properly, we'll try again now that the admins have fixed the issue. Enjoy!

One more time! The quotes in the links give the site a problem when it posts. The admins have tried a work-around.

my 3 remaining cats, think I am good for now (but might eventually refill the 5-6" gap made when I sold my apex 127 a few years ago.

Meade 8" LX200R OTA (USA) on GM8 with apex 90 piggybacked

viewing m13 at zenith, C11 always delivers on bright globs, even in light pollution, 14/15mm ep 187-200x, 95% wow factor (occasionally someone really old might not be able to get the view)

this configuration (plus my daily driver changing from a large vehicle to a 4banger hatchback), prompted me to finally sell my 10" dob. The 8" Meade on Stellarvue M3 alt az mount, my preferred quick setup visual configuration. Last pic for now I promise, but if I find archived pics of my old 127 on one of my old computers, I may post.
