I thought 9 clave eyepieces would worth more than $1000. More like about $1500 or more. I think the seller knows what he has amd might not know anything about scopes has done some research as to the value.

For you EP collectors out there:

96 .965" 4mm EPs $25 shipped

Nothing wrong with the ad. I just can't imagine what anyone would do with these.

They'd be great for replacement plastic plugs for your diagonal or tube. And cheaper!

My favorite ad is that one on ebay right now where the guy obviously found the scope at an estate sale and both parties think it's a department store scope. I mean, c'mon -- two hundred bucks for a new-in-box Televue 85? Too bad I'm not in the market for one.

I just saw one from Texas where the guy wanted to trade...
"for a gun!"

The guy I bought this Mayflower from didn't want cash, he wanted a rifle. It took me a while to get him to accept cash:

How do you people find these? (The scopes, not the people!)

I know I want it but I'm concerned I might already have one just like it!

I'm starting to see a lot of ETX ads for used scopes at prices that are higher than new, now that Meade has brought them back!

Did not see the obligatory "Don't know anything about telescopes." But they should have added it. Check out this new way to mount.

And here's a 36" telescope for $35! That's less than a dollar per inch!

http://allentown.craigslist.org/for/3427083955.html

Actually, note it says "Dynascope" on the back end. Pre-Criterion?
