hey mike...thats how good that AP is...just like the moon is right at the end of the telescope...LOL never gave it a second thought till you mentioned it. looks pretty cool...

A lot of great photos. Love the idea.
An old photo of my first and second Polarex. 75mm equatorial with a 40mm guidescope. Stupidly I sold this setup.

Here's a picture of me and my AP130 EDT (on the 400QMD mount I used to own) up in a road cut near the summit of Mount Wilson from back in the late 1990s. Taken by my friend Al Hall with a all manual 35mm SLR and Ektachrome 200 propped on a rock.

Well here's my classic scope under sunlight. After all moonlight is only reflected sunlight. Also tonight 12/26 marks 45 years since this scope saw first light.
