The 100" Hooker. I don't need to own it I just want to use it to explore the heavens for the rest of my life.
I'll just park a single wide in the back and I'll be as quiet as a church mouse.

The Lick 120" is a really handsome telescope. The 36 inch refractor there is such a nice instrument. The building has the smell of old wood and grease. It gave me a wonderful sensation.
The road up there is a wicked drive, never got to do it in a really capable car or bike.

You guys might laugh, but I'm a simple man. Hanging in and around these parts (this forum) for some years now, I'd always been intrigued with the 60mm f20's that popped up from time to time - but with nowhere near the regularity of many other more "mainstream" classic Japanese refractors.
It may not be the Holy Grail, but when I scored an SPI f20 earlier this year, I sure felt like I'd found it.
Like I said, I'm a simple man...

A 16" Criterion Dynascope would be interesting! (or the 12.5" or 10" in that order.) I suspect that I'll still be happy with my RV-6 (second from the right below) even after the telescope fairy delivers the 16" though

And then I went into the Air Force, lost interest, moved to Ca. and then back here to Mn. and got back into astronomy. Now I have to see if I can find out what happened to it!

My friend Brent W. and I got the first two production models. I think it was 1982.

Clint,
When are you bringing the Pearl to Utah? And don't say right after I bring the Clark to Mnt. Pinos. I would love to see our scopes side by side. What a photo-op that would be.

Well lets see, I'm 58 now and none of my kids would appreciate it...
