The Unitron cap for my 131-C had a crack in the side, I fixed it with some epoxy, but since I had 3 solar aperture reduction caps I used one to make another dust cap. Just used a 1 1/4" chrome hole cap and it works great.
I could have Unitron engraved into the hole cap.

Believe it or not i finally set up the 131 last night
and got a first light through her, makes you wonder when she last collected a few photons, the previous owner just used it as a display piece in his living room. Anyway it was on the brief side but i viewed the moon and Saturn. It definitely is sharp and has that snap to focus sweet spot.
I used the Unihex with its arsenal of eyepieces, the 40mm i
got from Johann gave a really nice, but i was really impressed when i tossed in a old vintage 28mm University Optics flat top Ortho, Wow! thats one sweet vintage eyepiece, if you ever run across one "Buy!it". I also tossed in a 20mm Masuyama and 16.8mm Meade RG eyepiece, the 20mm tossed up an incredibly sharp view, fantastic eyepiece.
Saturn was a beautiful gold color, and i could see either
a background star or possibly Titan ? it was a tiny tiny pin point of light at the 3 o`clock position relative to saturn.
Eventually i`ll do a lot more viewing through the 131 but it appears to be a real sweet and fun scope.

Glad you finally got to look throught the scope. They are sweet scopes. I have been tempted to order better flats for mine just to see if it actually would improve the views. I have never seen anything published on what the optical quality of the flats is. Anyone know?

Hi Dave, try this Java script Moons of Saturn app for the date and UT when you were observing to confirm Titan.

Nice scope btw, mustgobigger has one in the classifieds now.

Thanks! And Thanks for that link, that would confirm it was Titan, puts it in the right place at the right time.
