I've always wondered what all of those knobs do. I'm sure one is RA slow-mo and perhaps another Dec...but the others?

Hey vins1960,

I love the optical illusion you did in making the 102mm scope look bigger than it truly is! In any case, I truly love your scope!

Thanks for sharing!

Mel

I bought my first telescope (Instru-Scope 80mm f/15) brand new in the year 1984. It has a circle T on the sign, so I think it is made By Towa, Japan.

Hi all, It's my first time on CN. I want to show you my baby, a 150/2250 refractor wich has been designed to accomodate two objective lenses, a rare and prestigious Zeiss AS 150/2250 and a more "common" D&G 152 f/15. They are both superb as visual planetary peformers. The tube has been realized in two parts by a local producer, they can be devided for easier stocking and/or transportation.

Love the scope Robert. Is that a 6 inch F12? I'm building one this spring. I have everything but the tube and the rings. I'm gonna have a riveted tube made at a sheet metal shop.

They tell me at work we are not suppose to play on ladders so here I am playing on a ladder.
I'm not missing a wheel I have blocked the down hill leg up a little rather than screw the jacks out. That mount is so heavy and superb it doesn't notice the soda straw on it.
The soda straw is a 6"f12.64
The mirror came from eby and is scribed ALLEN on the back that is all I know about it other than its very old Pyrex.

Robert
