By the way, I've gotten my first 1,000 here. Any difference felt between now and 5,000 earlier?

been off the site for a while dealing with the after effects of Super Storm Sandy. hopefully soon things will get back to normal.

Every 1,000 I get a deeper appreciation about vintage telescopes and greater respect for all of our members who lovingly rescue and restore them!

Hi Gary, sorry to hear that Sandy impacted you. She put a 100 foot tree into my garage. But that was nothing compared to the devastation you guys had in Jersey. I hope you fully recover - I know it is requiring a tremendous effort to do so.
