To be truthful, when I was last in Michigan and the plane took off.....I did say "Yes!"

Lived in Michigan on the Upper Penensola (Sault St Marie) for a few years, more snow and cold then anything, got chased by a bear when the car broke down; billions and billions of mosquitos in the summer bigger than airplanes; and it had three seasons: June, July, and Winter. It actually snowed EVERY month out of the year up there (even in the summer, in the middle of the night, at least one night a month, would melt as it hit the ground, but it snowed). Nope, don't miss it. Oh, and where I worked? They turned the facility into a prison.........and every word of this is true fact....that's what's funny about it.

Don't believe everything you read. Hell is a wide spot in the road with a novelty store and a dive bar (dam site inn). There's nothing to do there. Oh, yea, and my X used to live there. Left me and went to Hell, or maybe Hell was better than me.

Hard to beat SE MIchigan, when you factor in everything: cloudy, cold winters; serious light pollution; hot, buggy summers during which it doesn't get dark until 10 o'clock. I could go on. . .

It'd take something biblically catastrophic to get me to say yes. A comet, biblical flooding or some such. But don't feel bad I don't say yes to Connecticut either, but it'd be a lot easier to say that to it it than the other.
