If I got it right this is tha same mountain with the lighting on the opposite side. If I got the wrong one I am sorry, it just seemed to be sticking up like a finger and I couldn't resist. I had to use it with the focal reducer on my cpc1100 to get that shot. From what I saw this morning which is the first light for it this is going to be a fun imager. Hope you get some clear skys soon. We are supposed to get some bad weather tomorrow so maybe that will clear things up finally instead of just this mess hanging around making it so you can't see through the sky. Also along the terminator, mountain peaks are illumintated so as to appear as floating lights. A blue/yellow filter combination gives the most pleasing view. Hadn't really thought about using other colors. I might give that a shot next time and see how that looks. Sounds like you got some had some great sites Kraus. The last few nights were wiped out by travelling. tonight I had to dodge clouds and trees to look at the Apollo 11 landing area, Mons pico and Mons Piton (nice little shadow behind each one) and then to a beautiful chain of 3 peaks with pointy shadows near Kepler. I wish my clear skies would coincide with S&T's monthly moon libration articles. A glimpse of one or two would be neat-o! I was ready on Saturday but the clouds were not. But last night it cleared and our friends were brillianly lit up. Seeing was not that good, but I watched for a while through the boiling atmosphere.
