Just received my AP900 and Pinnacle Pier from Particle Wave Technologies. By some miracle they arrived within one week of each other. Of course, the skies here have been severely overcast, however this hasn't stopped me from setting it up in my study.
I must say that the solidness and quality of both the AP900 and the Pinnacle are a sight to behold. Quite a step up from my Atlas which has served me well. Can't wait to actually use it under clear skies!

Is that "just the paint" or is it overcoated? And is that the AP white?

Greg,
The pier is powder coated with a close match to the AP white, I really can't tell the difference.

Scott,
Weight is around 30lbs. It is quite solid. I hope to transition to a permanent observatory within a year and use the Pinnacle for imaging at remote, dark sky locations.
