Here's a video on how to use a webcam with your polar scope.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdfiQ4sGPH0
Astronomy Shed also did a Youtube video tutorial using a webcam.
On the iEQ45 you will need to put a slot on the tube that fits over the polar scope eyepiece for the led light.

Dear all,
do you think that the mount is the mount is also suitable for planetary/lunar/solar imaging with very long focal lengths?
According to some users, the Eq45 is not practical for high-power imaging. Indeed the Eq45 presents a non negligible backlash and large minimum-step movements that make hard to center the planet on the camera sensor for planetary imaging.
I wondering if these issues are present on the zeq25.
BTW, did anyone try to use the mount with a C8?
Thanks
Francesco

Francesco - was there a scope listed with that iEQ45 that had trouble? Maybe someone was using a scope too big for the mount? I know my iEQ30 is just fine for planetary at f/20 (best I can do with my scope).

The problem has been raised by a test done by a french astronomy review "Ciel et Espace".
Here is the link of the test (in french, see "Deception en planetaire" bottom of page 81):
http://www.cieletespace.fr/files/InstrumentTest/493_test_Ioptron_iEQ45.pdf
The problem arises with a C11 (12.5 Kg), but is also present, in a milder way, with a Mewlon 210 (8 Kg).
I have a Mak Intes M703 (7.2 Kg, similar to the more diffuse C8) and I am wondering if the ZEQ25 will be sufficient for planetary imaging...and eventually deep sky.

I'm running a 6" PowerNewt with full AP gear on the iEQ30 (which is just a shade more hefty than the ZEQ25, from what I gather, as far as what it can carry)and it doesn't hiccup. But my scope's a good third lighter than yours.
That looks like the older iEQ45 (pre-clutch change), but I don't read French, so can't be sure.
