Close up of the F60M2 finder from Stellarvue. This is a VERY nice unit for the price.

I wish it did when I have to move it down hill!
It has levelers by the wheels that anchor it to the ground. It doesn't move once I set those. Pretty awesome since I don't have an obs. I just roll it in and out of the garage.

Sorry I missed Bob's post...I haven't been back to this thread until this morning.
The grey device is a Terk 2.4GHz video transmitter. It sends a video signal to a remote monitor so more people can see what's going on when the star party is well-attended. The 7" monitor I have on the scope isn't large enough when there are more than half a dozen people.
These devices cost $65-70 for the pair and work reasonably well up to about 150 feet.
I don't want to run cables from the scope because they create hazards in the dark.

My CPC 1100 as I use it now. Set up at Shawmut AZ. This is just east of Gila Bend Az. The area is also the camp site of the Combat Railfans. They hang near the small hill along the tracks behind the scope. Sadly as Phoenix metastasized snout houses and McMansions the northern horizon has steadily brightened. Most likely that phase of history has come to an end but the damage to once a once dark night sky is done.

I agree, but I'm running out of places on the scope to hang the stuff. I want to add a green laser with a remote switch, so that when people ask "Where in the sky is that object" I just press the switch and it projects the beam. I've just got to figure out where it will go. I'm trying to work out a system where I could mount a flip mirror between the diagonal and the camera, then add a 1.25" diagonal and an eyepiece, so that I could switch from video image to eyepiece, particularly helpful for finding small objects when using little or no focal reduction on the camera. I still haven't had enough time to figure out the focusing issues. I added a coaxial cable to the whole cable bundle, so I can get the video signal down to my power box and then to a netbook for image capture, to avoid an independent cable to tangle during rotation. I added a nice old analog ammeter to the power box and rigged up a switch so I can power the dew heaters either from my main battery (33 AH deep cycle) or a separate battery (either 9 AH or 17 AH power tanks). What you don't see in the photo is the netbook shelf that I built that is attached to a tripod leg with 2" C-clamps.
