One of the other threads reminded me of some refractors that I have bought and sold but wish I had kept. Here are three in order of preference.
1. AP Star12 ED. This beauty was made by Astrophysics in the early 90s. It featured a 120mm two element ED lense of f/8.5 for a focal length of 1020mm. At that focal length it was easy to get magnification. This was AP quality at a bargain price. The color correction was very good and it performed well on just about everything.
2. Televue Genesis. The predecessor of the NP101. At f/5 it gave 500mm focal length. Great wide field views and decent deep sky performance. A bit hard to get magnification though. I used it a lot for Boy Scout campouts with my son's troop. It helped me teach Astronomy Merit Badge to a lot of scouts.
3. Celestron C6R. What can I say. A 6" f/8 achromat. Great for deep sky but a lot of color on bright stuff. I still loved this scope. I liked looking at nebula and open clusters with this thing.
Well those are three I wish I had back. I just ordered an AT111ED which as I think of it now, is going to fit kind of in the middle of those three scopes and hopefully give back some of each.

Don, The top two on your list matches mine exactly! AP Star12 ED TV Genesis I sort of miss the Genesis most as my youngest daughter was really attached to that scope. I have an APM/TMB 105 now that bests those two in almost every way... except in the memory department.

I liked the overall size and transportability of the Genesis.

I still wish I had my William Optics ZS110. Great optics. One of the very few scopes I have sold that I regret selling.

This is silly but I miss my Edmund 60mm f/8 Voyager. Perhaps mostly for nostalgic reasons. It was my first non department store telescope.

Wish I didn't sell my ES127 APO...that was the best optics I ever owned....so sharp...and contrasty...views I rarely get with my SCTs (weather has to be right and they have to be meticulously collimated and needed a loong time to cool down)...my ES always was ready to rock...sigh...

I wish I still had the 60mm refractor my wife bought for me with Marlboro Miles coupons. I don't remember the make and I probably wouldn't use it but it was my first telescope. I gave it away when I got a "real" telescope. I should have kept it.

I regret selling my TMB 130. It was a great scope and I only let it go to cover some medical problems. I picked up a Tak FS-128 last winter and it's a great scope, but the FT focuser on the TMB is better.
Oh well... life goes on.

I regret selling my William Optics Megrez 110 Doublet. It was one of my favorite scopes ever. I also regret selling my first Apo a WO ZS80ED II.

I wish I had one of the CR150HD's I picked up back in 99 when Astronomics had a sale on that achro and the CG5 mount. I sold the ,ount cause I had something else at the time that would handle the yard canon but that sample has the least amount of false color of ant achro I've ever owned and instead of purple it was a slight tinge of blue but detail and contrast was very good, the optics tested real well on that sample, very smooth and no zones, observed many shadow transits on ole jup with that scope.
