Thanks Shawn! It's a Stellarvue 80/9D (80mm). It looks a little different because I thought it was a good idea to paint it. Oh well, live and learn.

Thanks Jim! I would like to replace the 80/9D with something shorter like a AT72 or something similar.

Here's one, the Explore Scientific 127ED Triplet Tube Assembly. It was just received and it will be the top door prize at our 30th Annual Deep South Regional StarGaze to be held next week between 11/7 and 11/11. This scope will be the main giveaway prize on Saturday, 11/10. Plenty of other stuff too including two Explore Scientific 100 degree field 20 mm eyepieces.
AstroGizmos will be in attendance as a vendor.
We still have one motel type room available in the Lodge if anyone is interested in attending. This event is held at the Feliciana Retreat Center about 10 miles north of Clinton, LA (about 50 miles north of Baton Rouge).
Contact me for attendance info.

That is a glorious scope. Is it (TMB 152 f/15) a doublet or a triplet?

Gianluca, Impressive! It does not look like you have much counterweight there. What is the weight of the OTA?

Well........it's taken me MONTHS to bring it all together, but here is my "one & only" "ES" AR-102, custom hickory tripod legs, and "Unistar Deluxe" mount. I had to seek out "blems", and do a lot of "hands on" to afford this on a disability pension, but I am VERY proud of the outcome.

A friend of mine built this scope with a 5" f5 Jaeger's lens and I have the use of it until I don't need it in which case I'm to donate it to The Springfield Telescope Maker's telescope museum. It's a nice scope with very fine craftsmanship . It has a threaded brass lens cap and a 90 degree prism also made out of brass which has a built in Barlow.
