Thanks Tim. Nothing like cranking up the vibrance to hide the damage a couple of dogs can do to a lawn over the winter months!

Thanks! I live near a powder coating shop so it's always tempting to get something with an unusual color.
They do take mail orders! Here's the link:

Here is one getting ready for the night. The OB walls are a full 8ft tall and the pier is also 8ft...just for some perspective.
Dew cap still not on....

Indeed I do Steve..thanks. Brightness and image scale are amazing...and being an f/15 the false color is minimal on planets(Hardly noticable). The moon is fantastic and DSO's are awesome.

Cool scopes everyone. Here's my newly acquired grab'n'go solution. An Orion EON 80 on a Portamount II. It's as light as a feather and a joy to use. The Portamount is surprisingly stable even with the stock tripod.
Today my EON80 arrived. Unfortunately, I have to return the scope as the right coarse-focussing knob has significant play.
I also noticed that when mounted on a Vixen Porta II mount, the finder mount on this scope can not be used (gets in the way of the azimuth control).
Anyone who is using an EON80 on a Portamount and has a solution to this?

Here's a shot of the Konus Konusky 6" f8 I recently picked up on craigslist as a travel scope. Has the Konus mounting and sits on a meade heavy duty tripod that I had hanging around
