Lunt 102ED finally ready to go.
I added a weaver rail for a red dot and laser finder and upgraded the mount with an ADM clamp and heavier tripod.

Some boring shots of a C6R and Antares 105 f/13.

Amazing looking f/13!! I'm a sucker for long Focal Length and that makes me jealous. Though, I could not lift all that, even if I owned it(yay stupid disability ><).

But! As I am ever trying to learn: Is your f/13 mostly for planets and double stars? Perhaps even the Moon? I bet you could put a nice solar filter on that and be rewarded with glorious views, too.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Be right back, I'm going to go and hug my own f/11 and make sure it knows it's still #1 in my book! :P :P

Edit: Just out of curiosity.. how much does that whole f/13 setup weight? Just the mount looks quite heavy, alone! (or is that called a Pier?). Sorry for several questions. I suppose I'm easily excited haha.

Looks great Mark. Unfortunately here, looking at the scope is all I have been able to do with mine. Today was the first day of sun and somewhat clear skies in the last 4+ weeks.

It's been the same here for way too long, but if the weather holds out I will be getting it out under the stars tonight.

Weather has precluded observing here for the last 3 1/2 months. The single weekend night that was clear during that time I was completely beat after working all day, fell asleep on the couch and missed it. As Bette Davis said, getting old ain't for sissies! I did get to spend some time with the 175 on Jupiter before the weather got horrible, haven't been able to observe Saturn with it yet. My brother lives in the SW US and his area averages over 300 clear nights per year.

Thanks Mary! It is a great scope, and I was very lucky to get one a couple of years ago. I would love to add the 80ss and 92ss, so I could have the whole TMBss family.

Wow. I'm impressed. You use your living room every day. I think I've been in my living room twice in twelve years.

And the scope and mount are a work of art, too, of course.
