Yep. That 25-year-old Telrad has been stuck on my various 6" refractors from Day One. It keeps them humble.

Thanks. I am fortunate to have a good, convenient observing site.

My AP 155mm f/9 EDT. I hope to upgrade the mount this year. I'm running into the limits of what the G11 can do with a scope of this length.

I checked out AP's 1100GTO at NEAF last weekend. It is a scaled-down version of the 1600GTO, which I have (it's quite robust and tracks exceptionally well w/low PE). The 1100 is well worth the introductory price of $8.8K.

Thanks, I did the same thing, and I reached the same conclusion. I'm on the waiting list. Let's see if I have the money when my name comes up.

Beautiful telescope and mount. They look like they were made for each other. I bet it offers some easy and incredible views.

Thanks for the comments. I really enjoy the views through the scope. It has also woken up my interest in the Moon, which was the main target that night.

Wow, that looks stunning. I am so tempted to go down that path! Just looks like a great combination!

Seriously thinking of parking the CPC 1100HD order!

Beautiful. Oil spaced?

This objective looks different than other A-P objectives I've seen. I see the little round white circular "patches" along the edge of the lens similar to those on a TEC oil spaced lens.

You can see the "patches" I'm talking about on this TEC objective, too.
