No criticism from me - I think it's rather cool. I've got a 50mm finder on my 80mm scope and a 60mm finder on my 102. Not that different. And they are both Stellarview finders so I can use other eyepieces easily too.

The wind is blowin and it clouded over, but I just got my $100pier! So its doll house time in between two of my other toys This could be the last 155 from the last production run, if not the last its close! The gods smiled and I got it from a local astronomer who owns several fine AP's and bought this after waiting many years as an investment. He waited for a local buyer so it would not be shipped and I was in the right place at the right time!!! Got the Feathertouch upgrade too

Headed out to JTree to see Panstarrs in the morning sky and it was really nice! This was my first dark sky with the 155 and wow did it perform! We had several campsite guests who said Saturn looked better in the 155 then the 18 inch dob next to me. I can't wait to get a binoviewer on it.

Was out last night with my TEC 140 and we mounted it on the first Nova Hitch Mount for a photo shoot. Left it on all night and that is a sweet mount. Matches up great with the TEC 140. The ultimate grab n go.

I believe you I had a 160 out last week with some friends and the view of Saturn looked like a stacked image but at the ep. Color surface detail contrast was absolutely breath taking.

nice pic Ron! I have been real happy with the Denk II.
I started with a WO bino, then the Televue binovue for a year and now I've had the Denk for a year. it's the best for the $$. I found a pair of the Denk 14mm EP's and they are great. along with a pair of panoptic 19's,
radian 10's and a pair of the Televue 8-24 zoom and I'm in bino heaven!

I only have the 155, I would imagine a 160 would be very close to my EDF. We had winds all night so beyond 180x was pointless.

Thanks Ross,
I took all my camera gear with and ended up not taking a single astro photo last night. We had winds, many guests interested in the scopes and the sky and we played host till 1am with all these people, slept for a few and got up to see Panstarrs. It would be fun to get a bunch of CA AP owners together for a star party somewhere in the future.

Mike,
Thanks! yes, I was very lucky and fortunate to be able to purchase this amazing scope just recently, a once in a life time opportunity and I couldn't pass it up. Wallet took a hit but it will recover over time. They are worth it.
