I know Nebulosity has been around, but so have a number of other products that have been nominated.

So I propose Nebulosity-3.x.

Release 3 was made available last year. It fills the niche in the affordable but excellent category. Nebulosity+PHD is hard to beat without shelling out four to five large ones.

Not exactly a product, but anywhere's that sets up a permanent dark site; like that place in Australia did.

Us and Them. All of US who began or came back into the hobby this year. And all of THEM who took the time and patience with US, answering our (sometimes stupid) questions and giving us the benefit of your past knowledge/mistakes.

SkySafari is very good, but so too is Observer Pro and its very affordable and useable. So I would put in a vote for Observer Pro which has not gotten the kudos it deserves as a potential product of the year.

ES 9mm 120 degree eyepiece.
too bad there are so few out there (only 4 I know of, one was a return). This eyepiece really has an apparent field of about 140 degrees, and stars are pinpoint from the center to the edge of the field; Jupiter at the edge is white, but otherwise looks exactly like it does in the center, with the same bands visible. I'd actually call it the Product of the Decade, not just Product of the Year.

Clears,

Telegizmo 365
For me,without question, this has been the most usefull product I've bought in years.Injuries of thirty years ago have come back to bite me big time and I felt that my latter years would have me tied to lesser mounts and lighter scopes (ex,c8 on a cg5).Now I have a c11 parked on a g11 in the backyard.Set up once and thats it.I keep it covered with the 365 and so far,so good.A really outstanding product that greatly increases my time at the eyepiece.
