As I practice more, I am getting better everyday. Having fun (but man is it alot of work). This is a private party hosted by the band to get a video produced and get our name out. We have 100 people coming. Hopefully it will spawn more gigs down the road. Who knows?!? Some of the things going for us is that the folks in the band have been playing a long time and have contacts in the industry. I am just having fun. If I make some money doing it, even better!! I found a place to fix Monday. A Walmart is conveniently next door, and there are a lot of eateries, so I'm set. Glad you were able to make it to a convenient spot. We blew a brake line last year and were able to limp into the next town and pull in a grocery store parking lot before I would have had to stop like Fred Flintstone. There was a NAPA across the street and an hour later we were back on the road. Nelson tends to go to the road occasionally, but prefers the woodline, and few dogs can outrun him. He added to the three cats left to him by his recently deceased sister. It's a light-colored mixed-breed, apparently female - very fuzzy and pretty - and quite friendly. Next time I'm here, I'll introduce C & N to her under controlled conditions. She stays inside until the afternoon, so my guys get a run in the morning, although Casey's "run" is pretty much trying to dig the field mice out of the steel square stock base of the RV port.
