I'd like to wish a Happy New Year to all the folks who have given us the privilege of being able to earn a living working for Astronomy folks, who in my experience, are the most down to Earth and best people that one could hope to work for and also share in and improve their ability to enjoy the best hobby in the universe.
Professionals not excluded. 
10 years and 175 observatories later, we are currently in the process of upgrading both our home model and our club model plans as the observatories have evolved over time and we do a lot of things differently now compared to when the plans first came out. The new plans will necessarily cost a bit more when they're finished.
While stock supplies last, the original 11'6"x11'6" Home Model (CJE-1) plans are $10 off the regular $35 price and the 16'x24' Club Model plans regularly sold for $135 for a set of 3 are now $40 per set.
Prices include shipping in the US and Canada. Over seas may be a few more dollars but we only charge the difference.

Thanks everyone! I can't believe daughter Nicole was 5 years old when we did the first observatories and the web-site. Now she's driving! 
Time sure flies.
We're hoping to have the revised plans ready in time for folks that want to build this Spring.

I'm all for seeing those! We have pics of most observatories after construction but not a ton of pics with the obs all set up.
Here's a roof top we did in downtown Gettysburg a few years ago.

Congrats on the anniversary! Those are some great looking observatories.
So, when are you guys going to start building down here in Florida? You know, for those of us who are prohibited by law from owning power tools.

It took 8 years but we finally did get in to Florida. I found an architect that customizes the design and stamps it for Miami-Dade wind code along with a special bolt down system we designed.
We've built in Okeechobee and Acadia and a couple people used the architect to build their own.
They're tough down there. The building departments don't seem to be too keen on the idea of a rolling roof.

Hi Jason. missed answering yours too. We've done it a few times. Just depends on if it's practical for the existing building we're attaching to. We can generally come up with the design via e-mailing pics or drawings.

I can say this much and that is Scott you do an admirable job on your workmanship. In the above add-on does the gable roof nestle in under the existing roof line fairly snug or a foot below. Does it then abut right up to a rubber gasket like feature that has side wall flashing incorporated above it? Probably several different takes dependant on the type of weather I'd think. Mike

But I'm honestly not sure what the stucco guys put where the roof butts to the wall. Weather Guard or some other rubber seal will do the trick.
