Hi everyone, I have been taking the last few really bad seeing weeks and devoted them to learning better tech. to processing. Well I ran into a little problem that may seem simple, but I have never done it before so I am not really sure what too do.
I have dloaded RGB split, so I can run each channel through RegiStax and process them seperatly. Which works great, now that I have PPMCentre & Front End to get my "bump & shoot" captures centered. So once I have processed the R,G & B channels through Registax how do I colorize and recombine them again? I have PSP X & PS Elements v4. I found a really great way to do it through AstraImage, but didnt realize you had to buy it so you can save the final image. Right now I am pretty stretched for cash, so unfortunatly AstraImage will have too wait. Which is REALLY too bad, I saw some great improvements in my images using the LE deconvulsion.
Anyhow, using the software I have, how would I go about colorizing the channels and putting them back together?
Never going to find out, if I dont ask!
TIA
Chris

i simply do a "alt" + "prnt scrn" or "shift" + "prnt scrn" and it captures the screen
then paste it into photoshop

I gather you still have the free version of Astraimage? If so you just recombine & take a sceenshot & load it into your picture editing software/crop the Jupiter pic etc. etc. I'm sure you'll work out the rest.

Cant remember if Elements has channels or not but if it has, try Merge channels. Should work

In PSP you can recombine any 3 images that are open in the program. You must first convert them to greyscale. Usually they aren't aligned right so I save the resulting image as PNG and take it back into Registax to use RGB Align on it there.
