Bare bones Jaeger 110mm achromatic refractor. The A3 is not sturdy enough for it so it will go on a simple alt az pipemount pier.

Wow, guys you did some amazing work with all your scopes. I finished mine over a year and a half ago and recently converted it into a split tube. I made myself the main mirror - 8" f/5.9 (1/12 lambda), which took me almost nine months. The mount was built based on Ray Cash-Le Pennec's plans. The tube is a sonotube, baffled with insulation foam.
Best regards
Marcin

For everyone amazed by the color - it's Rustoleum, "Royale Blue" Very resistant to weather, especially to frost - I tested it during this year Messier Marathon, see the pic below.

I scrapped the original UO cell. The collimation bolts were tapped-in crooked. This time the mirror is attached to a 1/2" BB ply plate with 3 blobs of RTV. The rear tailpiece is cut from 3/4" BB ply. Collimation is controlled with three 1/4-20 bolts which go through rubber stoppers insted of springs.
I've yet to put the cooling system to a good test.

Great thread! Thought I'd bring it back to the surface with a picture! This is a very simple ATM project. I took a 1960s Monolux 60mm vari-power scope and removed the vari-power assembly. The lenses in that assembly are not worthy of the objective which is a very nice air-spaced, coated objective. The actual focal length of the objective is 400mm. So I cut the tube, added a 1.25 focuser and then adapted it to fit the Meade "Push-To" computerized mount.
A successful marriage of 60s craftmanship and 00s technology. I call the scope my MONOBORG!

Here's another Simple ATM project. I purchased a 400mm fixed focal length zoom camera lens from Ebay for about $13. Removed all the glass and the iris. Using some spacers from a second camera lens and a Surplus Shed 63/365mm cemented objective I was able to put this scope together. I simply use the original focuser built into the lens which works great. I turned a piece of Corian at the end to support the diagonal.
I call this my "Pizza Scope" as I bring it along to outdoor social gatherings. Kids and parents can play with the scope as much as they want - even if they just finished eating pizza! I simply wipe down the scope when it's time to go and put it back in it's original leather case until the next outing!
