I've been thinking about a pair of 12X60 binoculars as the maximum I could hand-hold. Anyone know about the Visioneer binoculars and where to purchase them? Are the Magnacrafts on ebay similar? Thoughts on the 12X60 Oberwerk? Thanks, ~Don

Don -
If the loss of 2 power won't foil your plans, you might find the physical robustness of the Oberwerk 10x60 Mariners to your liking. They are wonderful handheld, behave perfectly by day on jaunts or sails, and really shine at night!
Best wishes with your choices,
