Hi,
I would like to get a carrying bag for my LX200GPS 10' in order to move it from time to time on top of hills!
Would anybody have an idea of what I may use to simplify the carrying and installation in my car? Seems that there is no possibility in Switzerland (nor by Meade, nor by any other brand).
How do you manage with this kind of situation? Thank you in advance.

Well, it kind of depends on what you plan to do with it. When I'm just going a ways away from the city, I just strap the scope in with a seat belt. If I'm really taking a trip, or if the road is going to be rough, I transport it in its original box.
I don't know that the Meade soft carrying case is the kind of protection I would want; if I were buying a real carrying case, I would want a hard case, like the JMI one.
But I've always found the original box just fine, for both my LX200 and my RCX400.

Like webfoot I strapped mine in the front seat of the car.
I am considering the softcase which is on sale on Ebay at the moment for $75 though I will need to get some foam cut for it.
The JMI as mentioned is a great case as are the cases by Pelikan. Guess it depends on how much you want to spend.
