Sun with Coronado PST and Canon A-40 new
      #1099260 - 08/17/06 11:28 AM Attachment (20 downloads)

Hello:
yesterday I was finally able to borrow a Coronado PST, so I try to take images of the current sunspot. This is my first attempt using eyepiece projection (a 25 mm plossl) and my venerable canon a40 (in full 3x zoom). 6 exposures, stacked and processed with registax. Webcams do better.
Thanks!
Marco

Taking images with the PST is difficult. I never could get that kind of quality. So I gave up on it. Nice work!
