Bobs knobs 0n an Lx200GPS with a 6 screw secondary
      #1104319 - 08/20/06 01:17 PM

HI folks
I would like to fit a set of Bob's Knobs on my Lx200GPS. My Scope has the 6 screws on the secondary housing a design change Meade introduced mid 2005. I have been told not to attempt installation as there is considerable scope for mess-up as the screws have to pass through a coil spring
Any Advice or experince with installing on a Meade with a six-screw secondary?

Cheers
David

They should have come with instructions. Follow those to the letter.

I fitted them to my LX200R which is the same and had no problems.

Be sure to follow the instructions carefully though. They should specifically mention the 6 screw design. You have to tighten everything up and do one knob at a time.
