LX200 Classic Connection Question
      #1107751 - 08/22/06 09:32 AM

I am running 2 computers in the observatory, one for guiding, one for imaging with an ST-8. Is it possible to connect both computers to the scope at the same time so I can slew and center the object using the ST-8, then use the computer with the guiding software and DSI to guide with? Would a splitter work in the RS 292 port on the LX200?
Thanks, Paul

There are two RS-232 ports in the LX200. A peek at www.mapug.com should reveal the pinouts for each.
