Each month the best images selected from the individual Cloudy Nights Imaging and Sketching forums will be presented for the userbase to vote on. The monthly winner receives the coveted Cloudy Nights t-shirt! At the conclusion of the poll, the entry with the highest total will be the winner of the contest..
As with last month's poll, please choose your favorite out of all the images. This poll will remain open through Tuesday, September 19th.

iceman - Solar System Imaging Hi-res Plato and the Alpine Valley Mosaic Captured at my home, on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia Date: 3rd August 2006 0915 UT Equipment: 10" dob on EQ platform Camera: DMK21AF04 Barlows/Filters: 5x powermate + Astronomik R/IR filter FL = 7500mm 15 avi's and 54 point MAP processing went into creating this mosaic. Registax, Photoshop and AstraImage were used to process the image.

GB 10D - DSLR Imaging Forum Nebulosity around Antares - Rho Ophiuchi Date: 22-JUL-2006 Location: Hakos/Namibia Camera: modified Canon 20D Mount: OTE150 Telescope: TMB 80mm/F6 Adapter: Televue 0.8x reducer/flattener Imaging: RGB ( IDAS-LPS): 12x300sec/ISO800. Note: this is a mosaic of 2x2 images to cover this area of approx. 6deg x 4deg.
