30 x 30second exposures (15 minutes) at ISO1600 unguided
All processing done in Iris
Taken Sept 27, 2006 ~02:30 UTC
Location 104*41'W 38*42'N Altitude 1677m
North is up, East is left. Colors were slightly muted by the JPG compression

Telescope: TMB 80/f6
Adapter: TV 0.8x reducer/flattener
Camera: Hutech modified Canon EOS 20D
Mount: OTE 150
Exposure: Ha: 9x10min/ISO800; OIII: 9x10min/ISO800

The image is a Ha:OIII:OIII composite to emphasize low contrast features within the nebula.

Calibration, alignment, stacking and star size reduction in ImagesPlus (2.75, final beta). Levels and curves in Photoshop CS2.

I'm sorry, I had to disqualify the picture from Gerhard since he won last month. The rules state that a person can only win once every three months.
