Are you looking for a wheel that holds 4, 5 or 6, filters?

I bought the Apogee 4 place manual filter wheel a few months ago off Ebay. It does alright, and its all metal. The included filters aren't very good for RGB imaging (the blue transmits far more light than the red and green), but since you're getting the Astronomiks filter set it doesn't matter. It is the cheapest 4 filter wheel I've seen out there so far.

The only wheel I've used is the Astro Engineering "Imager's 1.25 Wheel" so I can't make comparisons.

This wheel holds 4 filters and I would rate quality as 'good'. My only criticism is a slight amount of mechanical play or slop at each setting; but not bad.

Update,

As I discovered today, the Apogee filter wheel does not have a standard filter thread, so I don't recommend it now that I know this. Most filters WILL NOT screw onto it properly.

I guess that's the lesson when it comes to astonomical equipment. You get what you pay for.
