That bino setup is so awesome. Needs the dual full aperture O3 filters like Markus Ludes has! Looks like the mount is a bit slight where it comes out of the G11 tripod, looks scary with those big expensive binocs on it.

Good point, but weldments are solid....done by an artist. Also, remember the mount is isostatic, so no eccentric loads.

Hmmmmm....Dual OIII full filters.....have to get a hold of Markus, thanks for the tip.

This is my mount, but I even don't know who is the manufacturer, so I'll be very thankful if someone tell me
On the mount there is a tracking system and it works excellent, but there is a RJ6 connector, probably for connecting to the computer and I don't have proper cable, so I need pinout!
Thanks!

I use this primarily for rich field work.....about 150x is it (7mm Pentax XL).
My normal eps (used with Paracorr) 32 MK80, 22mm Nagler, and 17mm Nagler. The 14mm and 10.5mm Pentax work well, too.

The telescope on this mount is an eccentric (off balance) load, so there is a bit of vibration inherent in windy conditions. Rapping the tube takes about 2-3 seconds to settle out.

Given those constraints, the ease of use for sweeping the MW clouds ( my main pursuit ) more than makes up for its deficiencies. Both axis are buttery smooth when tuned up, and make sweeping starfields a pleasure.
