Zone System for Astro Imaging - worth it?
      #1311429 - 12/19/06 03:16 AM

Has anybody read Wodaski's "Zone System for Astro Imaging"? I'm a great fan of the New CCD astronomy.

I've read the preview chapter of the zone system and it makes a lot of sense to me and I need to work on my processing skills - but the "zone system" book isn't cheap ($100 = £55 delivered). I also wonder if it's anything that isn't found elsewhere.

It's good. Given the fact that it contains a DVD with tutorials, you essentially get 2 products: the tutorials and the book. The sample chapters give you an idea of what the book is like.

I haven't finished reading it. But so far, I like it.

Sky & Telescope has named it a 2007 Hot Product.
