      #134768 - 06/26/04 04:26 PM

Welcome to the Cloudy Nights Reader’s Gallery Submission Forum. Each month, we ask Cloudy Night members to submit their best Lunar photos in this thread.

For your photo entries, please provide a description that includes:
your First and Last Name;
Date of photo (can include the time);
Description (title) of the image;
Relevant photo information (exposure length and equipment used).

This is important! If you don't supply ALL information, we won't be able to use your photograph!!!!

Please note: due to copyright issues, all photos should be original (If they aren't then you will be banned from this section of the forum!).

To facilitate the judging we respectfully ask that you not enter comments in the photo thread. You will find a commentary thread for the Lunar photo entries. Thanks and good luck!

Hello,

I took this picture of Aristarchus on July 3rd at about
1:00 AM Central Time from Shalimar Florida. I used a
ToUcam, 12 inch LX200, and RegiStax for the processing.
The photo was taken at f/10. Seeing was 4-5 out of 6 but
the humidity was very high.

Moonla
Walter Novak

Taken 7th July

My first good moon shot.

Taken with a Nikon D70 Prime Focus on a Tasco 114mm x 900mm reflector with a 2x barlow in the T-Adaptor. Exposure was 1/50th second at ISO 200 not tracking.

Heres a smaller resized version of it, wasn't sure if the large version was too big to post on here or not.

Here's a larger but still resized version (50% the size of the actual photo)
http://image.pbase.com/u48/moon_catcher/upload/30685396.moonla2.jpg

EDIT: image wouldn't load anymore for some reason so I uploaded it again and updated the url.
