He has been a good dealer for me to depend on. Sorry Kim, I paid $1,750 for just the Stellarvue scope and approx. $200.00 more for the dovetail, rings, and weight set that you see underneath the scope. The rings are Losmandy but all the other hardware is from ADM. I have not been able to image yet through the Stellarvue except a couple quick snaps of the moon through some clouds. Hopefully tonight it will be clear so I can finally image. As far as the RCX goes, I am very satisfied with it. It has had a couple of quirks which have now been worked out, but overall I have loved using it. They make rings too that are a lot cheaper than Losmandy's DR- series. I think ADM is plenty good enough, Losmandy might be more stiff but the plates are not under enough stress to matter. How would I know, a person is not strong enough to flex those plates, would need a lab to test it. Basically ADM is plenty good enough for me. I noticed that you purposed rotates the DSI for this photo. In normal sequence, the filter bar will be blocked, am I right?
