Well, here an image of my setup, lots of parts homemade, I like DIY When I grow up I want to change to GEM, but my wife says IT'S ENOUGH!!! The camera used for imaging is allways the 350D, that's a Yashica inherited from my father, but i didn't have another digital to do the shots!

Hi All,
I am somewhat new here, and I love visiting the forums.
Here a shot from 2006 of my 14"LX200 on top of ME and parallax aluminum pier at a remote site. Now it's all permanently mounted in a 12X12 roll off that sits about where the trailer lives.... *goes to find newer pics*

This is 'half' of my scope.
Full system is:
12" LX200R
80mm Mead series 5000 refractor
Losmandy rings, plates, counter weight system & SLR bracket
Kendrick dew heater
DSI Pro II with filters
Canon 350D DSLR(no mod) with narrow band clip filters (well, I will have in a few weeks)
26mm mead plossl
16 & 9mm naglers
35mm panoptic
JMB solar filters for both scopes
Scope will be mounted to a pier via a home made wedge and will live in the observatory (under construction - glassed dome w/square building).

Here is my 10 inch LX250GPS set up in Bluff Park, Long Beach
Orion ED80 on top. An Orion 2-D counterweight rail with custom weights added. Custom aluminum adjustable piggyback mount to handle 2" to 3 1/2" dia. telescopes. OPT scopesaver tray installed for easy alt/az mount installation.
Handmade dew shield, coroplast plastic sign substrate slotted on one side in order to roll it into a cylinder, covered with black vinyl. PVC plastic stiffener ring on the end. PVC plastic internal stiffener rind inside acts as s stop.
I built custom transport cases by making 1/4 inch plywood boxes. One is at the same dimensions as the Meade box, for the fork/OTA assembly. The other box is made for transport of the tripod and scopesaver, plus accessories. I painted them Meade Blue and made custom white corporate logos. I put wheels on them on the base and on one end for easy transport. Handles are placed on each side. When the boxes are laid flat as shown, they are strong enough to be used as low tables, or even a bench for children to sit on.
The telescope sits on a custom built wooden wheely bar with welded T_handle allthread levelling jacks and 3 inch wheels. The assembly folds up for transport. It is made from 2x4 legs with 1/4 inch plywood center plate. 9 volt battery powered flashing red LED units are mounted on the ends for astronomy outreach. One way to make it easier would be to motorize the jacks for levelling, or to make a special attachment for a portable drill to engage the T- handles. Saves arthritic hands form turning the jacks....
Not shown:
Second tripod with Bonny lakes Milburn Wedge for astroimaging.
Piggybacked Coronado Helios 1 Hydrogen Alpha solar telescope
Piggybacked Meade EXT90 Guide Scope
Custom Baader astrosolar safety film cell, made from 1/4" PVC sign substrate. Used for daytime solar outreach. Two 4" holes, both with hinged hatches. One for visual film, one for photo film.
Custom Hartmann mask, made from black PVC sign substrate.
Two 4" holes, one 4" triangle hole. All with PVC hinged hatches.

I just went through this whole thread and can't believe that I didn't post a pic of my scope. I must be slipping in my old age, I never pass up a chance to show off.
Full Setup
And a smaller pic...

These were shot was after I installed a 7" LCD monitor, but before the install of an eyepiece tray on the other fork. This scope is starting to become a behemoth. I've got so much hanging on it that it's starting to look not so much like a telescope. People are going to start thinking it's some kind of death ray or missile launcher or something.

A night shot of the 10" LX200R before breaking it down for the night. A few upgrades done to it, but mostly still stock, I guess.

Here's my 14" LX200R mounted on an AP1200 GTO using Parallax Instruments' rings. At the back I have a feathertouch focuser and on top of the scope a Stellarvue F50 finder and a Stellarvue SV90T piggybacked using Losmandy gear. Whenever the weather cooperates this setup gives me a lot of pleasure.
