The cute little dog must be peeking sadly at the LX200 as you got a new love.

this is my 10" LX200GPS in my observatory, with Coronado PST and William Optics Zenithstar 80 on top of it. I also attached the LPI to the Z80 and my ATK 16HRC camera to the LX200. Normally I do not have the PST there, but I thought it would make the image more impressive :-)

It's not a LX200, but is mine. I purchased two weeks ago and it arrived 6 days later. This is my first purchase and hope all agree it was a wise choice for many years to come. LXD75 8"SCT. Now all I need is a clear night, warm cloths and free time. I am very green and have been following CN post. I am reading and learning charts. I want to be able to know what I am looking at and what I am looking for. I am sure after I learn the night sky a bit more the GOTO will come in handy. I wish all the best of experiances with thier set-ups. Happy hunting. PS. I wanted to post a picture but I need to have it on a website to upload?

OK, I'm coming in a little late on this one but here's mine:

I may be selling it though. I just don't get the seeing conditions often enough to use this much focal length.

A SCT is back in the house. Last weekend my wife and I made a trip to Gatlinburg TN to meet Jerry Wise and his wife. Jerry and I have exchanged emails and phone calls for 3 years now. I was very nice meeting him and his wife in person.
I bought his Meade RCX 10" which he had bought from Joseph Gillman.
Anyways it been a few years since I have had a SCT so I may have some question. I have the scope mounted and balanced. Now I just need a clear night to try it out.
Updated picture.

Hi all,
I posted some pics of my 10" LX200R a couple of years ago but here's a couple of new shots of the current setup. I use a straight-up regulated AC-DC power supply for the heaters and the Meade AC adaptor for the 12VDC now, since I am rarely taking this away from a 110 source. I also use the wireless HBX now and is it ever a great device. Way better than the wired HBX.
I also went Bino and never looked back. I use Siebert Bk22's and the 0.6X-1X-2X PowerMag Wheel. Superb equipment.
Oh, and the ep heaters -- good thing to keep the fog off.
Clear skies all, Howard

Hello, I new to this site although I have been lurking around the classic site for a while. Here's a shot of my 10" LX200GPS setup. It's a 2005 vintage and I bought it off a fellow on AM about a year ago. It's been a joy to use. I bought it pretty much complete and have added the Petersen clutch upgrade. The casters make it very convenient to just roll out and back when done. Lately I've been doing more and more AP and AI with a Nikon D80 and Philips SPC900NC webcam with very good results but it needs a wedge or gem mount to further my exposure times. It hasn't given me a moments trouble and is a blast to use.
