Foam friendly epoxy or CA (would say so on the container). Read the label carefully as some epoxy when curing generate heat and would melt the foam. If you want to keep a particular shape....use very thin fibre glass cloth, lay it over the foam and use spray epoxy to keep it in shape over the foam. Trim the excess with a hobby knife when hard and you have a sturdy eyepiece case. Hope this helps.

Just be carefull with any spray adhesives... You may have a foam that does not outgas (or very little), but the adhesive may have an outgasing effect...

I don't know how widely available it is, but I use 'Copydex' for any job that has to be flexible, including foam.

I've used their spray adhesive (trouble-free) and their foam. No problems.

I've had good results using elmer's rubber cement when I rearrange the pluck foam in my case. It makes a pretty strong bond between the foam pieces and remains flexible.

Same here. The walls of my music studio are scattered with it, and the "Camie" spray adhesive. Good stuff. as for out-gassing, I'm not sure.
