Off the Shelf L Bracket new
      #1453497 - 02/28/07 06:16 PM

I recently purchased a Celestron C130 to mount on a DSV-1 mount without thinking about the whole thing being rotated 90 degrees when mounted sideways on the DSV-1.

Does anyone make an off the shelf L bracket that would mount to the DSV-1 and support the C130?

I am not familiar with the C130 or the DSV mount but here is a source for lots of mounting accessories:

I use a Giro 2 DX mount like this one:

If you can post a photo of what you are trying to achieve some of us may be able to make better recommendations.

OK, DSV-1 = Desert Sky Astro. I have seen this mount discussed here last year:

http://www.desertskyastro.com/Mounts.html

What you need is the mount adapter designed for this mount and select the correct size rings for your OTA and attach it the the dovetail adapter:

http://www.desertskyastro.com/Dovetails.html

You can rotate the OTA inside the rings any way you wish. Does that work for you?

More possibilities here:
