I am also looking for a grad and go mount. But I don't have a photo tripod either. I couldn't decide between WO EZT (which can handle two scopes at the same time is a big plus) and this one.

What tripod + Helix mini can handle a 102mm F9 scope to < 200X?

I plan to put mine on a Manfrotto 475. From the design you'll want to place it on a tripod with a center column or pier. Because of the small size you'll want to insure that the scope can point at zenith without hit tripod legs and/or mount base. I believe a pier extension option is in the works for this mount.

I got mine yesterday. Haven't had a chance to use it, but, it looks real nice on the Manfrotto 475.
