Isn't it such a blast to watch and share with others!
I showed my wife the ISS last month and it was the first time she said wow! about the night sky.
The ISS is a beautiful sight alright, passing majestically across the sky for as long as six minutes sometimes.

Even beautiful through a veil of thick clouds too Someone pass a hanky.
88 degree approach tonight and the clouds and wind just rendered the ISS into a blurry white ball. Not much you can do about the weather though.
Hoping to put your ToUcam setting tips to use this Tuesday (68deg pass), weather permitting of course....

Wes, what part of Oklahoma are you from? We looked at the ISS out at Ten Acre Observatory last night, but no one got an image.

Wes,
Thanks for the tips! I will use Jupiter to focus on, or maybe Mercury/Mars if the low clouds are not too thick this evening.
Rechecking Heavens Above, tonight at around 8:13pm I will have approx. 6 full minutes to get a few frames of the ISS on the CCD chip with culmination at "88" degrees. This is probably the best chance I will get for some time. Fingers and toes crossed the weather cooperates.
Have you ever sent your pictures to NASA etc. btw?
I hope your skies are clear and good luck on imaging the ISS .
Thanks,
Wes
