Welcome to the Cloudy Nights Reader’s Gallery Submission Forum. Each month we ask our Cloudy Nights members to submit their best Planet photos.
For your photo entries, please provide a description that includes: your First and Last Name; Date of photo (can include the time); Description (title) of the image; Relevant photo information (exposure length and equipment used).
This is important! If you don't supply ALL information, we won't be able to use your photograph!!!!
Please note: due to copyright issues, all photos should be original (If they aren't then you will be banned from this section of the forum!).
To facilitate the judging we respectfully ask that you not enter comments in the photo thread. You will find a commentary thread for the Lunar photo entries. Thanks and good luck!

Uranus, July 29, 2004 at 2:00am
Approx. 50 selected frames stacked in Registax.
1/25 shutter speed, gain=40%, brightness=50%, 10 frames per second.
(I've been observing/imaging Uran. since last month and you can literally see it getting gradually brighter and larger as it approaches opposition. Even the raw frames appear slightly larger)

Great shot. I may take the leap into Tuocam territory. I've seen some great images taken by them.
