Tell me if I am wrong, but it looks like these bino turrets line up the EP straight through instead of at a 45 degree angle. Straight through viewing for giant binos are high on the frustration level, IMHO.

This makes sense, because military big binos would not be designed to observe astronomical targets high overhead.
