Hi All,
So the same night I took my Saturn image I took a lot of moon images. This is the best I have been able to get so far.
Tried the multipoint in RS 4 & let it pick the points. It picked out 28! This is 386 out of 1017 at 5 fps.
This is Theophilus/Cyrillus/Catharina...I think:

Good closeup moonshot -- someday I'll have to figure out how to do high-resolution imaging.

Thanks guys: ChazK: Thanks for the name check. I wasn't 100% sure. s58y: Thanks but I wouldn't call it "high" resolution. Now if I could get something with the 4X Powermate now that would be High res.

Compared to what I shoot at 384mm focal length (3.4 arc-seconds per pixel -- the whole moon would be a small disk in the center of the frame), this shot would be ultra high resolution.

I guess that would be. I'm no good at math. So I couldn't tell you the arc-seconds per pixel. I was using my LX-50 which is 2500mm FL with a 2X Powermate & a 6.3FR. I'm not sure of the chip size in the ToUCam.

Um, why a barlow/Powermate AND a focal reducer?

TheNebulai: Thanks imjeffp: I had the 6.3 on to do some imaging of Saturn & was too lazy to take it off. The image actually looked better then just the PowerMate alone. I don't know why.
