Today at NEAF Uncle Al was showing off a new 13mm ocular with a 100 degree field of view. For the life of me I can't remember the new name... Ethos or something... It starts with an "E". I was able to view through it also. Really nice. I didn't get to talk to Al, he was speaking with someone from Sky and Telescope Mag. So, I don't know what the price range or number of focal lengths there will be. I'm sure Tom T or someone from Cloudy nights will give a full report.

All of those who are totally convinced that they can't see more than 70 degrees worth of AFOV anyway should not be letting themselves get too excited over this news.

Wow! I may be putting my 16 Nagler T5 up for sale... The 13 Ethos should have about the same field of view as the 16 Nagler with 25% more magnification. In fact, it should have about the same fov as a 25 mm. Plössl, with double the magnification.
